Frequently Asked Questions: Weddings
Q: Do you have a minimum?
A: During the growing season (July - September), I do not. During the "off" season, I have a $500 minimum.
Q: Can I pick up my flowers to avoid a delivery charge.
A: Yes! However, if your order is over $1000 I highly discourage it. Once the flowers leave our studio, they are in your care. Think of the delivery fee as insurance for your flowers and peace of mind!
Q: What's the best way to lower the cost of florals for my wedding?
A: Have a smaller wedding party, eliminate corsages and boutonnieres, and think about where you want the most impact. There are so many options to think about and I'm here to help.
Q: I don't know any names of flowers, is that ok?
A: It's totally ok, and that's what I'm here for! Trust your florist to make the best floral choices for your style, time of year, and aesthetic.
Q: Do you travel out of town for weddings?
A: Yes! We do! Travel fees and milage will be additional charges.
Q: What if I have to add or delete table designs or make changes to our contract?
A: You totally can! We will have a final meeting about six weeks out from your wedding date and we can update the contract before you send in your final payment.
Q: Do you have photos or a portfolio of designs?
A:The website Wedding page has a good selection of photos and designs from our past weddings. I also use social media as a place to showcase what we grow, what we believe in, and how we design. Please check them out to see if we are a good fit!
Q:Why are florists prices all so different?
A: It is based on SO many differing things, but in short, premium flowers are expensive and you get what you pay for. I tend to design with high value and unique flowers; I take special care to create a unique, lush, garden inspired bouquet for all of my clients. Your wedding bouquet is a luxury piece; it will be in your photographs forever, I believe that the care we take curating your bridal bouquet is worth the investment and you are worth having the most beautiful flowers.
