Wedding Feature: Mid Summer Soiree in Grand Rapids

When family and florals combine, you know it’s a special one. My beautiful cousin found her forever and thankfully asked me to design florals. Nothing could be sweeter than doing what you love for people you love and then dancing the night away.

Sara and Skye’s incredibly gorgeous September wedding was at the beautiful and very fun Grand Rapids Downtown Market. Nuptials took place in the very lush greenhouse followed by the reception across the hall in the banquet room. Florals were designed with rich green foliage and earthy terracotta, and we were able to incorporate some incredible farm grown lisianthus and zinnia, as well as field foraged wild pearly everlasting, an extremely rare element in floral design.
