• How peonies are grown and cared for on our Southern Michigan flower farm
• The art and timing of harvesting for maximum vase life and beauty
• Proper conditioning techniques to help your blooms thrive
• Thoughtful floral design principles rooted in movement, texture, and seasonality
After walking the fields and gardens, and asking all your peony or flower farm related questions, we’ll return to the studio space to create a lush, garden-inspired arrangement using farm-grown peonies and complementary seasonal blooms.
This workshop is designed for both beginners and flower lovers alike — no prior experience needed. This is a great workshop for a gardener curious about growing peonies at home, friends looking for space to create, or someone who simply wants to be immersed in the beauty of the season!
Please wear outdoor appropriate shoes and clothing, we’ll be outdoors for almost the entirety of the event with a rustic indoor design space. Also, if the weather is uncooperative, we will use Sunday morning or afternoon as a make up day if needed. *No refunds are available once tickets are purchased, unless the event is cancelled by the owner.
